(MITCHELL) - A Mitchell teen was injured after he rolled his vehicle on Rabbitsville Road Tuesday afternoon.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, 16-year-old Austin Tillett was traveling south on Rabbitsville Road when a van pulled out from a driveway in front of his vehicle.
Tillett swerved his 1997 Dodge Dakota pickup to miss the van and he over-corrected and his vehicle rolled onto the driver's side, slip and then rolled back on its wheels
Police say no contact was made between the two vehicles.
Tillett suffered minor bleeding and shoulder and upper arm pain. He was taken by a Seals ambulance to St. Vincent Dunn Hospital for treatment.
Marion Volunteer Fire Department first responders assisted at the scene.
