(MITCHELL) - A Mitchell man was arrested after both Mitchell and Lawrence County police went to a home in the 100 block of Juliet Lane early Sunday morning.
According to Sheriff Mike Branham, officers were called to the home at 2:30 a.m. after a report of a suspicious man in the backyard, lying near the homeowner's privacy fence.
"Officers were unable to locate anyone at the Juliet Lane address, but checked the area and found 18-year-old Michael Tedrow kneeling on the front porch of a residence in the 200 block of Tarry Park Lane, which is a short distance from the original location reported," Branham wrote in an email.
Tedrow was intoxicated and disorderly with officers.
"He continued to resist officers when they attempted to place handcuffs on him," Branham added.
Tedrow was arrested on charges of resisting law enforcement, disorderly conduct, illegal consumption and public intoxication.
