(JASPER) - Jasper police say the man injured in a knife fight last week in the parking lot of Germantown Plaza was the same person who pulled the knife that started the altercation last Thursday.
Police arrested 26-year old Christopher Wilz after finding him at the Jasper Inn motel on Wernsing Road. He is facing charges of criminal recklessness with a deadly weapon.
Police say Wilz allegedly pulled a knife on another man and chased him. During the incident, Wilz accidently injured himself. He was taken to Memorial Hospital for treatment. The other man was not injured in the incident.
Police have not disclosed what prompted the altercation between the two men.
