Man Armed With Gun Arrested After Breaking Into Sullivan County Home

(SULLIVAN CO.) - Sullivan County Police arrested 31-year-old Joshua Carter of Terre Haute who is accused of entering a home on Warren Street on May 5 armed with a gun and robbed the resident.

Carter was arrested Thursday at a home in Rockville.

According to Sullivan County Sheriff's investigators on May 5, Carter broke into a home on Warren Street and was surprised by the homeowner. Carter then pulled a gun and threatened the resident.

Carter then left the home in a gold four-door car. Two other residents, were arriving home when Carter pulled from away from the home.

Police secured an arrest warrant for Carter on felony charges of burglary committed while armed with a deadly weapon and intimidation while armed with a deadly weapon.

Sheriff's officials asked for the public's help in locating Carter and from those tips were able to find Carter at a home in Rockville.
