(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man who stole tools from a resident wasn't going to get away with it - the victim taped the criminal to a chair and called police.

41-year-old Joshua Wigley was arrested on a charge of theft after police found him taped to a chair.

Wigley had allegedly stole tools from the victim and pawned them at a local pawn shop.

The victim, who knows Wigley, called police at 9:27 a.m. Tuesday saying Wigley was at his home in the 300 block of block of Woodsferry Road.

Police were at the pawn shop recovering the stolen tools when they received the call that Wigley was being detained at the victim's home.
