(SEYMOUR) - A Jackson County man was arrested Tuesday in connection with an investigation into a report of sexual misconduct involving a 14-year-old girl in April 2014.
A Jackson County man was arrested Tuesday in connection with an investigation into a report of sexual misconduct involving a 14-year-old girl in April 2014.
The Seymour Tribune reports that 35-year-old Christopher S. Spall of Seymour faces a Level 5 felony count of sexual misconduct with a minor and a Level 6 felony count of sexual misconduct with a minor as a result of that investigation, police report.
The difference between the Level 5 and the Level 6 charges stems from the kind of sexual contact that occurred in each incident, Seymour Assistant Police Chief Craig Hayes said.
