(BEDFORD) - DistinXion is a life-changing camp that will shift your perspective on sports and life, inspiring you to be your best in mind, body and heart, every day.
DistinXion basketball camps focus on elite basketball and character training for co-ed students in grades 2nd-8th grade.
A a unique DistinXion Xperience will be held in Bedford because it is an overnight camp. Campers will go deeper and get the full Xperience with extra time devoted to elite basketball and character training.
The camp will be held at t Bedford North Lawrence High School and Camp Challenge on U.S. 50 for any students entering 4th grade through 12th grade.
Camp will begin on July 23 - 25. The deadline to sign up is July 8 to secure a t-shirt. Cost is $299.
DistinXion is a non-profit organization founded by the Zeller family to provide a way to integrate elite character and sports training to help build family relationships.
For as long as they can remember, basketball has been an integral part of the entire Zeller family. With 3 brothers earning the title of "Mr. Indiana Basketball", 3 Division 1 Basketball Scholarships, 3 NBA contracts, and a number of other awards and recognitions, it's safe to say that the Zellers have a lot of experience in the athletic culture.
In their experience from grade school to their professional careers, the Zellers have been known for their positive influence on others, as well as their hard work and dedication. Unfortunately, their experience has also included seeing some common negative aspects of the athletic culture. From these experiences, the Zeller family created DistinXion in an attempt to prevent similar experiences in future generations of athletes.
