(JASPER) - All charges have been dismissed against two men arrested following an April 18 during a violent altercation at Jasper Rubber Products Plant No. 1.
24-year-old Christopher Barrett of Huntingsburg and 23-year-old Kelvin Brown of Jasper were arrested on felony battery charges after an altercation at the plant.
However, after the formal filing of charges, Jasper police continued the investigation and, according to Dubois County Deputy Prosecuting Attorney Brian Lucchi, previously unknown facts came to light.
After careful consideration, Lucchi decided Wednesday to dismiss the charges in the best interest of justice.
