(SPRINGVILLE) - A Bedford man was injured after a deer ran into the path of his vehicle early this morning.
According to a Lawrence County Police report, 20-year-old Jameson Arthur of Bedford was traveling east on Arthur Road when a deer came from the south side of the road into the path of his vehicle.
Arthur swerved his 2002 Acura to miss the deer and lost control of his vehicle and ran off the north side of the road and flipped.
Arthur was not at the scene when police arrived, but was found walking down the roadway.
Arthur suffered minor bleeding to his face and was treated at the scene by an IU Health Hospital ambulance crew.
