Two Teens Cited Into Court After Caught Huffing Toxic Vapors

Last updated on Monday, April 27, 2015

(BEDFORD) - Two 15-year-old Bedford North Lawrence students were arrested Friday afternoon, after school officials and police caught them huffing Dust-Off.

"There was a convocation event being held in the PAC when an officer was requested to escort two young women from the facility," says Bedford Police Chief Dennis Parsley. "The officer discovered the two teens had been huffing Dust-Off and still had the containers and one of the girls had pills that neither of them had a prescription for."

The two were checked by medical personnel and then released to their parents after probation was contacted.

Both girls were charged with inhaling a toxic vapor. One is also facing a charge of possession of a legend drug.
