Teen's Death Ruled Suicide

(HARDINSBURG) - A Hardinsburg teen died Thursday afternoon, the apparent victim of suicide.

According to Washington County Sheriff's Deputy Joe Keltner, the body of 17-year-old Levi Rappe was discovered by his 16-year-old brother when he arrived home from school and found Levi in the yard outside of the family's home on U.S. 150.

Police say the teen died from an apparent self-inflicted shotgun wound.

Police say no foul play is suspected and that Rappe did leave a note

An Indiana State Police team was called to process the scene and provide assistance to the sheriff's department.
