(PAOLI) - The Orange County Sheriff’s Department now has a dropbox in its lobby for unused prescription and over-the-counter drugs.
Sheriff Josh Babcock says home burglaries often occur because people are looking for old and new prescription medications.
Prescriptions, over-the-counter medications, pet medications, vitamin supplements and liquid medication in leak-proof containers are accepted by the sheriff's department at 205 E. Main St., Paoli.
The dropbox is free to the public and is available 24 hours, seven days a week.
For more information, call the department at (812) 723-2417.
