(BEDFORD) - The Lawrence County Community Foundation would like to remind area non-profit organizations that grant applications are still available at the community foundation office for their Open Grant Cycle.
The application is also available online at www.cfpartner.org/lccfgrantshowtoapply.htm.
$45,000 is available for charitable programs and projects that serve the residents of Lawrence County; additional funds are available for specific areas of need. Local non-profit organizations classified under IRS section 501(c)(3), educational institutions, and governmental entities are encouraged to apply.
Applications, with the appropriate copies, must be dropped off or mailed to the community foundation office in the old Bedford post office located at 1324 K Street, Suite 150. Office hours are 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Completed grant applications must be received by 4:00 pm on Wednesday, April 15, 2015 to be considered for funding.
