(JASPER) - The largest sentencing related to the Operating Big Brother arrest in Dubois County was handed down last week in Dubois Superior Court.
42-year-old Rosetta Allbright of Schnellville was the tenth person sentenced.
Allbright pled guilty to on one count of felony dealing meth.
According to a probable cause affidavit, Allbright was accused of selling 2 grams of meth for $260.
Allbright was sentenced in accordance with her plea agreement to 16 years in the Department of Corrections. She is also required to pay $520.00 in restitution to the Dubois County Sheriff's Department.
This 16-year sentence is the largest sentence to date handed down in any of the Operation Big Brother cases.
In total, ten of the fifteen Operation Big Brother cases have been resolved through plea agreements. Thus far, the sentences imposed in these cases total 93 years, with 78 years of jail time.
The five remaining Operation Big Brother cases are set for jury trial at this time.
The "Operation Big Brother" arrest sweep took place last June 5th. The operation began in July 2013.
As part of the operation, informants made undercover drug buys and as a result several felony arrest warrants for drug dealing charges were obtained by the Dubois County Prosecutor's Office.
Several types of drugs were involved.
