(BEDFORD) - Bertha’s Mission asks you to join them in a 10 by 10 fast on Monday, April 20 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Participants will fast for 10 hours, make a $10 donation, and say 10 prayers.
The purpose of the fast is to raise awareness of hunger in the community and to raise funds for Bertha's Mission.
All proceeds will be used to provide free meals at Bertha's Mission, a local soup kitchen. You can sign up for the event at any area church.
Bertha's Mission is a community supported nonprofit organization. Your donations help them to meet the needs of the less fortunate children, adults, elderly, lonely and disabled in our community.
Those who wish to participate or make a donation can mail them to the First Church of God at 1515 20th Street in Bedford c/o Heather Beasley for 10X10 fast.
