IU Inaugural Little 500 5K Run Saturday, Motorists Will Face Lane Restrictions

(BLOOMINGTON) - The Indiana University Inaugural Little 500 5K Run is scheduled for Saturday morning and there may be some traffic delays.

The IU Student Foundation is hosting the run/walk event that will take runners through the IU Bloomington campus and end with a lap around the Little 500 track.

The race route includes Fee Lane, 17th Street, 11th Street, 13th Street, Fess Avenue, Law Lane and Jordan Avenue. Motorist will face lane restrictions.

Event Times:

8 a.m. Packet pickup/onsite registration opens, outside of Gladstein Fieldhouse (east end), cost $35
9:45 a.m. Packet pickup/onsite registration closes, outside of Gladstein Fieldhouse (east end)
10 a.m. Start of Little 500 5k, corner of 17th Street and Fee Lane
10:30 a.m. Post-race party, Armstrong Stadium
11:30 a.m. Awards, Armstrong Stadium
