(BEDFORD) - Marion and Shawswick Volunteer Fire Department firefighters extinguished a garage fire Thursday morning.
The blaze was reported at just before 7 a.m. at 1577 Dixie Highway. No one was home when firefighters arrived. According to Marion VFD Capt. Paul Gillespie, the neighbor told firefighters the homeowners were on vacation.
The garage was a total loss and firefighters are still investigating the cause.
A Seals ambulance crew and Tabernacle of Praise Emergency Services were also on scene.
