(FISHERS) - Funeral services for Indiana University senior Hannah Wilson, have been scheduled for Saturday in her hometown of Fishers.
Visitation is from 4-7 p.m. Saturday at the Fishers High School Auditorium, in the 13000 block of Promise Road. The funeral service will be at 7 p.m. The service is open to the public and guests will be able to greet the family and extend condolences in an informal gathering.
Daniel Messel has been charged with her murder. Wilson's body was found near Plum Creek Road near State Road on Friday around 8:30 a.m. after a woman driving on Plum Creek Road saw Wilson's body face-down in a vacant lot. An autopsy concluded Wilson died from blunt force trauma to the head.
Indiana University will remember the senior during the upcoming graduation ceremony on May 9, with a moment of silence. Plans are being made to present Wilson's diploma to her parents in a private ceremony.
