List Of Local Easter Egg Hunts

(UNDATED) - The following are community Easter events for children.

Bedford Recreation Department will have its annual Easter Egg-stravaganza at Murray Forest Park beginning at 10 a.m. on Saturday. Activities begin at 10 a.m. and the hunt will start at noon.

The Mitchell community Easter egg hunt will be Saturday at Burris Elementary School. Games begin at 2 p.m. and egg hunts begin at 3 p.m., with the youngest children going first. Children should bring their own basket to put their eggs in.

Bliss Place, 3008 S. Shawnee Drive, Bedford, will be having an Easter egg hunt from 2-4 p.m. on Saturday. Activities and refreshments provided. Contact Sarah Conrad at (812) 275-2468 to make reservations or for more information

The Huron Volunteer Fire Department will have its annual Easter breakfast and egg hunt at 7 a.m. Saturday. Breakfast will be served from 7-9:30 a.m. with the egg hunt beginning at 10:30 a.m. There is a charge for the breakfast, but the egg hunt is free. There will be three age divisions: ages 1-4; 5-8; and 9-12. Rain date will be April 11.

The Orleans community Easter egg hunt will begin at 10 a.m. on Saturday in Congress Square (town park) in Orleans. Registration begins at 9 a.m., and children are encouraged to bring their own basket for collecting eggs. The Easter bunny will be present and pass out treats to the children. The bunny will also be available for pictures with children, so parents should bring cameras. The event is free and open to the public.
