(ODON) - A death investigation is underway in Odon.
According to Odon Police, officers were called to 203 South Grove Street on Tuesday at 5:45 p.m.
Odon police say a plastic bag containing bones with a gun next to it was found.
A forensic anthropology team from the University of Indianapolis is due in Odon at 10 a.m. today to investigate.
Daviess County Coroner Laura Petty says the bones were found when two young adults were exploring the area and stumbled across them.. Petty added, she doesn't know how old the bones are, or if they are male or female.
