(BEDFORD) - Bedford North Lawrence senior Blaze Byrer and Orleans’ Cale Hall have both been selected to compete in the annual Hoosier Basketball Coaches Association East/West All-Star Classic April 26 at Bloomington North High School, while Orleans coach Tom Bradley will help guide the East team.
Joining Byrer on the West Team are Terre Haute North's Charlie Aimone, Barr-Reeve's Addison Wagler, Bloomington South's Johnny Jager, Bloomington North's Jacob Treadway, Jacob Stauber of Evansville Mater Dei, Jaelan Sanford oNate Hansen, Alex Stein, and Jacob Norman of Evansville Reitz, Gavin Schaefer of Heritage Hills and Martinsville's Gannon Myers
HBCA Coaches of the Year Pat Rady of Cloverdale High School (District 1) and Michael Adams from Evansville Reitz High School (District 2) will lead the West squad.
Bradley (District 4) and Rushville's Brian Bowen (District 3) will coach West team, which, along with Hall, includes Kooper Glick of Columbus North, Connor Umphress of Columbus East, Blake Walsman of Batesville, Matt Schurman of East Central, Timothy Wiseman of Corydon Central, Ranger Caffrey of Crawford County, Alex Doebler of Eastern (Pekin), New Albnay's DeAnthony Warren and Devin Winburn, Ty Miller of Connersville, and Will Brown of Rock Creek.
Founded in 1985, the HBCA serves student athletes throughout southern Indiana, with a mission of promoting their dedicated and focused commitment to the game of high school basketball. The annual All-Star Classic helps raise funds for the association to provide eight annual scholarships to its member boys and girls basketball players.
