Last updated on Monday, March 16, 2015

(MITCHELL) - Vandals used a large chunk of concrete to smash a sink and toilet at the Lehigh youth baseball field in Mitchell.

According to police, the vandals pried open the locked men's restroom door. They then used a large chunk of concrete from the parking lot to do the damage.

The damage was reported to police Sunday morning after Mike Cox, a youth league board member, found the damage just after 11 a.m.

Volunteers were at the baseball field today repairing the damage.

After volunteers posted the picture on Facebook several individuals had offered to help pay for the damages.

Anyone with information on who may have done the damage is asked to call the Mitchell Police Department.
