Sullivan Man Seriously Injured After Being Thrown From ATV

(SULLIVAN) - A Sullivan man was flown by helicopter to Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis after he suffered head injuries when he crashed his ATV Wednesday afternoon.

Police say 41-year-old Lekim Cox was traveling north on State Street in Sullivan when he lost control of the four-wheeler. Cox was thrown from the vehicle when it rolled over and struck a telephone pole at the intersection of State and Snow streets.

Indiana Conservation Officers are investigating the cause of the crash.

Sullivan City Police, Sullivan Fire Department, Sullivan Sheriff's Department, Sullivan City Medic #1, all assisted at the scene.
