(BEDFORD) - The Lawrence County Concert Association "Song Tales" concert that was cancelled for February 21 due to bad weather has been rescheduled to Friday, March 20 at 7:30 p.m. at the Bedford North Lawrence High School Performing Arts Center.

"Song Tales" takes the audience behind the music as songwriters Monty Powell and Anna Wilson share stories and songs from Nashville's "Music Row."

Season tickets are $50; single tickets for this event are $20.

For more information contact Charles Edwards at (812) 279-6542.

"Song Tales" is a husband and wife duo that epitomizes the craft and diversity within the Nashville songwriting community.

Powell performs his string of country hits made famous by Keith Urban, Lady Antebellum, Tim McGraw and others, while giving an insider's look behind the curtain writing and recording business.

Wilson performs standards from the American songbook, mixed with her original jazz compositions in tribute to the Tin Pan Alley era.

Powell is a Nashville super-producer with accolades that include co-writing the 2012 Keith Urban smash "For You," which achieved No. 1 chart position and earned a Golden Globe award for "Best Original Song in a Motion Picture" ("Act of Valor").

Wilson's recent release "Countrypolitan Duets" rendered classic American songs with leading Nashville voices, including Rascal Flatts, Ray Price and Kenny Rogers. The album's debut single, "You Don't Know Me" (featuring American Idol's Matt Giraud) reached No. 1 on the iTunes "Jazz" chart. Follow this link to view a video featuring Song Tales.

Thanks to the generosity of Patrons and Sponsors, these concerts can be offered at affordable, family friendly prices.
