(SEYMOUR) - A Seymour native who resided southeast of Columbus has died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle crash near his home.

32-year-old Devon Earl Fields died at 3:30 p.m. Monday, eight hours after he crashed his motorcycle on Della Road, just south of Base Road.

Police say slick roads could have caused Fields to lose control of his motorcycle. The motorcycle slid about 175 feet, leaving the east side of the road and slamming onto the pavement.
