(UNDATED) - This is a reminder that kindergarten screening is taking place at the various schools in the North Lawrence Community Schools system.
A child must be 5 years old on or before August 1 of this year to attend kindergarten in the fall.
Parents are asked to call the appropriate school before the screening to schedule an appointment.
On the day of the screening, parents need to bring the child to the screening, the child's birth certificate, immunization records and proof of custody (if applicable).
