Police Use Stun Gun To Subdue Man

(BLOOMINGTON) - Police used a stun gun to subdue a man in connection with a burglary case.

45-year-old Ronald Dean Zike of Freetown was arrested Thursday on felony charges of burglary, criminal trespass and resisting police.

The incident began around 10:20 p.m. Thursday when police responded to a burglar alarm at a garage in the 7000 block of North County Road 675 West, near Freetown.

A variety of items, including fishing equipment, fire extinguishers and four-wheeler parts, were taken from the garage, according to a news release from the Jackson County Sheriff's Department.
