Paris Crossing Woman Arrested On Heroin Charges

Last updated on Monday, March 9, 2015

(SEYMOUR) - A Paris Crossing woman was arrested after she allegedly was caught dealing heroin.

Seymour police arrested 26-year-old Laikyn Castetter on three felony charges of dealing a controlled substance. She was arrested after police conducted several undercover drug buys that occurred over a four month period. Police also believe Castetter was traveling to Indianapolis to pick up the heroin on a daily basis and then reselling the drug in Jackson County.

Police arrested Castetter at the Jackson County Jail in Brownstown. She was there picking up her mother, who was being released from jail.

Castetter did not have drugs on her at the time of her arrest, but officers did find an estimated $400 to $500 worth of heroin in her hotel room on the east side of Seymour.

Castetter was booked into the jail at 12:55 p.m. Wednesday and was being held without bond because she was on probation at the time of her arrest.
