Orleans Officials Looking For Recipes For Bicentennial Cookbook

Last updated on Friday, March 20, 2015

(ORLEANS) - In honor of the Orleans Bicentennial Celebration plans are being made to compile a cookbook with recipes contributed by the residents and former residents of the Orleans community.

Anyone with a connection to Orleans is invited to submit recipes for the book as well as add an anecdote or note to the history of the recipe. Maybe it Was Great Grandma's pie always made with apples from Great Grandpa tree, served at all family get-togethers or the latest recipes from 2015.

There is no limit on the number of recipes submitted by one person, however, the number published will be determined by the total number received. Every effort will be made to include all recipes submitted and everyone will be guaranteed at least one recipe will be included in the cookbook.

Recipes may be submitted by e-mail to www.orleans200.org, mailed to Orleans Bicentennial, P.O. Box 9 or dropped off at the Orleans Town Hall.
