(MITCHELL) - Despite days missed because of inclement weather, Mitchell Community Schools is keeping commencement on May 22.
Superintendent Steve Phillips says that seniors will not receive their actual diplomas until they return to school for the final day of classes on May 26.
Mitchell High School Principal Sean Vandeventer says the plan likely will be similar to last year when the graduates received diplomas at a cookout.
