Ivy Tech To Bring Classes And Summer Camps To Orange County

(ORLEANS) - Ivy Tech will bring non-credit classes in Orange County for youth and adults, which will be held at Burton Kimble Farms, and the adult classes will begin in late March. A youth summer camp will be held as well on July 7-9.

Summer Science on the Farm is the name of the youth summer camp. The camp is offered for kids age six through twelve. Campers will learn about energy and electricity, as well as building a solar cooker and a switchboard light. Camp will be held July 7-9 from 9:30 to 11 a.m. and the cost is $49

The adult classes offered include Beginning Folk Guitar (beginning March 30), Heirlooms and Herbs (April 9), Watercolor Flowers and Lunch on the Farm (April 11), Think like a Photographer (April 28), and Farm to Fork Series (June 13).

Burton Kimble Farms offers an environment for enrichment, relaxation, learning, and fun, just South of Orleans in Orange County.
