Indiana Schools Struggling To Make Up Snow Days

Last updated on Tuesday, March 17, 2015

(UNDATED) - Indiana schools are still trying to figure out how to make up snow days.

Some school districts missed more than a week of class because of winter weather.

Trinity Lutheran High School in Seymour had students attend class on Saturday. Other districts are adding days the week after graduation.

School officials hope the Department of Education will offer the option of extending school days as it did last year, when some districts had to make up 15 days.

Indiana requires students to have 180 days of instruction each year.
