Fire Ruled Arson, Firefighters Seeking Public's Help

(BEDFORD) - Bedford Fire Department Chief Jon Wagner is looking for the public help in catching an arsonist.

Firefighters believe a fire at a vacant home at 501 14th Street on Tuesday just before 9 p.m. was set on purpose.

The fire contained to a couch was extinguished quickly.

Wagner says the home, owned by Leonard Thornton, has been vacant for about three years and there were no utilities on at the home.
