(UNDATED) - Four Hoosiers are among the richest people in the world, according to a report released by Forbes.
Carl Cook is the wealthiest of the group. He took control of the Cook Group, a company that makes medical devices in Bloomington.
Cook, 52, has a net worth of $6.5 billion.
Mall developer and Pacers owner Herb Simon was ranked No. 628 with a net worth of $2.9 billion.
Dean White of Crown Point is No. 737 on the list with $2.5 billion from billboards and hotels.
Colts owner Jim Irsay comes in at No. 1105 with a net worth of $1.8 billion.
Overall, Bill Gates remains the world's richest person with a net worth of $79.2 billion. His fortune grew by more than $3 billion in the past year.
