Bedford Parks Department Hopping Into Action Planning Easter Egg Hunt

(BEDFORD) - Bedford Parks Recreation Director Gary Dorsett reported the recent mother/son bowling outing drew 61 participants and the staff is now gearing up for the annual Easter Egg-stravaganza at Murray Forest Park on April 4.

Fun activities will begin at 10 a.m., with the Easter egg hunt at noon.

Other spring events crews are working on are the Annual Bedford Car Show slated for April 25 on the downtown square. The entry fee is $10 per vehicle.

The Trash & Treasure event is set for April 18 from 8 a.m. until noon at Thornton Park. The cost is $10.

And those wanting to officiate baseball games at Murray Park this summer need to attend the annual umpire clinic scheduled for Saturday at 9 a.m. at Murray Forest Park.
