Wanted Bedford Man Now Facing Meth Charges

(BEDFORD) - A Bedford man was arrested after Lawrence County police officers found he had meth after a traffic stop Thursday night.

While on patrol, officers noticed that 26-year-old Joshua Woods of Bedford was a passenger in a Ford Escape that was traveling on Leatherwood Road just after 8 p.m. Woods was wanted on a warrant for petition to modify house arrest.

Officers stopped the vehicle to arrest Woods and that is when they discovered he had meth and drug paraphernalia.

Woods was arrested on the warrant for on charges of possession of meth and drug paraphernalia.
