(BEDFORD) - The Bedford Lions Club Fitness Challenge Pi K road race is scheduled for Saturday, March 14 at 8 a.m.
There will be a 5K run and walk, with kids races to follow.
Registration will be in the new race headquarters at Englewood Baptist Church, 3118 Washington Ave., from 6:30 to 7:45 a.m.
The proceeds from the race will benefit the Bedford Lions Club Community Fund at the Lawrence County Community Foundation, and the Blessings in a Backpack program, which provides nutritional and educational items for children in need. The pre-entry race fee is $17, and entries after March 9 will be $22.
