Southern Portion Of State Under Winter Storm Warning

(UNDATED) - Significant winter storm to bring several inches of snow to southern portions of central Indiana tonight into Monday.

Winter Storm Warning in effect from 11 p.m. this evening to 7 p.m. EST Monday.

The National Weather Service in Indianapolis has issued a Winter Storm Warning for heavy snow, which is in effect from 11 p.m. this evening to 7 p.m. EST Monday. The Winter Weather Advisory is no longer in effect.

Main impact: roads will become snow covered and slick and visibilities will be reduced resulting in hazardous Travel.
Accumulations: 5 to 8 inches.

Timing: snow should begin to accumulate after 11 p.m. in the southwestern counties and overspread The area to the east thereafter. Snowfall will continue until Monday evening.
