Silent Auction To Benefit 11-Year-Old Cancer Patient

(MITCHELL) - A silent auction benefit is set for February 22 at the Mitchell Senior Center for 11-year-old Kaila Elder.

She is suffering from embryonal rhabdomysarcoma, a cancer in her facial area. She is facing the possibility of chemotherapy for 10-12 months followed by radiation.

The event will take place from 2-5 p.m. at the center.

There will be music by the Little Mountain Band, food and lots of items for the silent auction.

The auction will conclude at 4:30 p.m.

This is a kid-friendly event with no smoking, drugs or alcohol.

Donations will also be accepted at the door.
