Burns was arrested Monday night evening at the Department of Child Services building. Burns was at the facility taking a drug test for an open case involving his children. When police searched Burns they found two bags of meth in his pockets.

Four others were also arrested.

On Feb. 10, police arrested 28-year-old Jerry Mobley at a home in the 600 block of Indianapolis Avenue.

A 16-year-old boy, Mobley's girlfriend 22-year-old Samantha Young, of Bedford and the homeowner 49-year-old Harold Eisenmenger and 31-year-old Joel Shands both of Seymour were also arrested.

The city's SWAT team was involved in those arrests.

Armed with a search warrant officers found $5,000 in cash, meth with the street value of $1,000 and a 22-caliber handgun.
