(MEDORA) - A traffic stop Monday night in Medora led to the arrest of a 34-year-old Jackson County man on three felony counts related to the possession of drugs.

The Seymour Tribune reports that Matthew Darren Thompson of Seymour was arrested after a search of his vehicle uncovered three types of pills, marijuana and drug paraphernalia, Jackson County Officer Tom Barker said Tuesday afternoon.

Barker said the arrest of Thompson occurred at about 10:30 p.m. Monday after Barker stopped his vehicle at Poplar and Third streets in Medora.

County Officer Dustin Steward assisted Barker with the investigation.
