(ODON) - Daviess County Sheriff Jerry Harbstreit says his department and and several others are investigating a murder that occurred in Odon.
At just before 9 p.m. on Tuesday a call came in concerning the death and a deputy confirmed it was a murder investigation but the location of the incident was not being released at that time.
Since then the victim has been identified as Travis Woodruff and officials say the murder happened at 106 Edwards Lane.
DCSD said officers with the Daviess, Knox, Warrick, Sullivan and Greene County Sheriff's Departments, along with officers from the Odon Town Marhsal's Office and the Indiana State Police are working on the case.
No information has been released regarding a suspect or suspects and no arrests have been made.
The investigation is ongoing and law enforcement is asking for assistance from the public.
