(BLOOMFIELD) - Eastern Greene High School honored alumni and celebrated Homecoming on Saturday evening in conjunction with the Thunderbird boys basketball home-game match-up with the South Knox Spartans.
Joani New was crowned as Queen and Riley Holtsclaw was crowned King of Eastern Greene Homecoming 2015 during ceremonies between games.
Kylie Jones was named as 2015 Homecoming Princess and Jag Butcher as 2015 Homecoming Prince.
The Greene County Daily World reports, the JV Thunderbird team fell to the Spartans in the first game, then in the Varsity game, Thunderbird fans were treated to a little Hoosier Hysteria for Homecoming.
The Varsity T-Birds overcame a 13-point deficit to twice pull within one point of South Knox, but the Spartans managed to hang on for a 75-72 win over the Thunderbirds.
