(BEDFORD) - Friends of the Milwaukee Trail will meet Friday from 1 p.m. till 3 p.m. at Healthy Balance.
Those on the Vegetation Committee will meet on Saturday from 10 a.m. till noon at Healthy Balance.
Although the trail is open from L Street to Coxton Road, officials say there is a lot more work to be done to make and maintain the trail.
Volunteers are needed to removal non-native weeds that are over riding and killing or preventing native vegetation from growing.
