Medora Woman Suffers Minor Injuries After Vehicle Crashes Into Tree

(LEESVILLE) - A Medora woman suffered minor injuries after her vehicle crashed into a tree on Old U.S. 50 East near Leesville Road, Sunday at 2:44 a.m.

According to a Lawrence County Police report, 24-year-old Sarah Craven was traveling east on Old U.S. 50 East when she drove her 2009 Ford Fusion off the north side of the road and struck a tree.

Police asked Craven is she had been texting and she said no, she was unsure what happened.

Craven suffered knee and lower leg pain.

Assisting was an IU Health Hospital ambulance and Guthrie Volunteer Fire Department first responders.
