(BLOOMINGTON) - Bloomington Police arrested 22-year-old Derrick Newbolt on two counts of robbery.
Newbolt is a suspect in the February 9 robbery at CVS Pharmacy and Wild Side Smoke Shop on Feb. 11.
An employee at the smoke shop thought they knew the man committing the robbery, because he was asking the same questions a customer who goes by the name "French Gambino" had asked before.
Bloomington police knew who French Gambino was Newbolt. They then found a post on Instagram with Newbolt allegedly holding a black and gold semi-automatic handgun that matched the one used in the robberies.
The victims of the robberies were able to pick Newbolt out of a photo lineup.
United States marshals assisted Bloomington Police in locating Newbolt. He was found in Castleton and arrested.
Officers recovered the handgun during Newbolt's arrest.
