(LOWER SCHOONER) - A Brown County family lost their home to fire on State Road 46 West Tuesday morning.
Nashville and Van Buren Township firefighters were alerted to the blaze at 10 a.m. in Lower Schooner area.
Firefighters say the fire started behind a woodstove in the front room of the older-mobile home and then spread quickly in the metal-sided trailer.
Amanda Hatchett was buying the home from her cousin. She and her four children lost everything in the blaze.
The Red Cross and God's Grace are providing the family with food, clothing and shelter.
