(BLOOMFIELD) - The Eastern Greene School Board Monday night and approved a motion to appoint Ron Childers to fill the vacant seat on the board.
The appointment was effective immediately and will end on Dec. 31, 2018.
The Greene County Daily News reports, motions were also made to approve the hiring of Nicole Conway as a Middle School Teaching Assistant at a rate of $9.90 per hour for 28 hours a week and to appoint Leslie Kovach as the Boys' Middle School Track Coach.
The board then accepted the resignation of Anita Sciscoe as High School Assistant Track Coach.
Contracts were extended for Sharon Abts as the Elementary Principal, Doug Lewis as the Middle School Principal, and Kevin Frank as the High School Principal. Each contract was extended for an additional two years.
