(BEDFORD) - CSX Railroad will be upgrading railroad crossings in Lawrence County.
On Monday, crews will be working at the crossing at Sams Road, off of Mill Creek Road in Mitchell.
The road will be closed Monday and Tuesday.
"The railroad is planning on installing a temporary crossing since this is a dead-end road," says Lawrence County Highway Superintendent David Holmes.
On Wednesday, crews will close the crossing on Rivervale Road.
"There will not be no temporary crossing," Holmes added. "Therefore traffic will not be allowed through."
