(BEDFORD) - The Lawrence County Election Board will conduct a hearing regarding a challenge of primary Mayoral candidate Bradford “Brad” K. Bough by candidate Sam Shaw on Thursday February 26th at 9 a.m. in the Voter Registration Office in the Courthouse basement.
This hearing is considered a "meeting in public." The public is invited to attend but may not participate.
City of Bedford Mayoral candidate Sam Shaw filed the challenge on Friday, February 20th stating Bough "filed as candidate for public office while employed on government grounds and on government time clock. Not allowed to engage in politics on tax dollars. Bough is employed for a 40 hour week."
